Keynote Speaker Jacqueline Kravitz highlighted in her message that the graduates must always treat the patients like human beings and focus their lives in serving their communities
Yuma, Arizona. – New Health professionals are ready to join the workforce of the Yuma County and the State of Arizona community thanks to the Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. /College of Health Careers, which celebrated a ceremony with a total of 27 students graduating from different programs.
The Spring Graduation was held on May 20th, 2015 at the Yuma Civic Center, where Ms. Amanda Aguirre, President and CEO of the RCBH gave a warm welcome to the students and their families.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Program had two classes; CNA 65 included Sidlayin Carrasco, Blanca Cordova, Yesenia Fierro, Carman Morales, Humberto Munoz, Bianca Perez, Diana Ruiz, Melissa Ulloa, and Hugo Verdugo. And also CNA Class 66 included Macrina Ley Tai, Claudia Nuñez, Karina Sodari, River Twist, and Rosangel Urzua.
Electronic Health Record Specialist (EHR) Program included Dulce Haros, Marisol Peñuelas, and Brisa Velasco. This was the first group graduated from this program.
Phlebotomy (PHLE) Program included Lori Antone, Zuleima Apodaca, Roxana Garcia, Crystal Gonzales, Esmeralda Gonzalez, and Tara Pickle.
Nutrition and Food Services Management (NFSM) Program included Isaura Garcia, Olga Lancaster, Evaudelia Salazar, and Lidia Vanta.
Certified Professional Coder for 15 years Ms. Jacqueline Kravitz was the keynote Speaker at the event, which highlighted in her message that the graduates must always treat the patients like human beings and focus their lives in serving their communities.
Certificates were presented to the students by Ms. Aguirre, as well as the instructors of each program; from CNA Ms. Karen Strickland, and Mr. Mark Ballinger, from EHR Ms. Mary Alice Lopez, from PHLE was Ms. Maria Widmark, and from NFSM was Ms. Candie Porchas-Zavala, as well as Ms. Kravitz and Ms. Ines Pampara, Director of Health Professions & Training Development of the College of Health Careers.
