Yuma, Arizona (July 5, 2024).- The Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. San Luis Walk-In Clinic, Inc. will offer several resources to the San Luis and Somerton communities’ families to assure their children have a safe and healthy Back to School.

According to Ms. Amanda Aguirre, Former State of Arizona Senator and current President and CEO of RCBH/SLWIC, the 26th Annual “Nuestros Niños/Nuestra Comunidad” Health Fair will gather the non-profit organization staff and students participating in the 26th Annual “Nuestros Niños/Nuestra Comunidad” Community Outreach Campaign to assist the public.

“We are pleased to announce the 26th annual health fair to provide high quality care services to our children and their families and continue building strong and healthier communities,” said Ms. Aguirre.

“Nuestros Niños/Nuestra Comunidad” Community Outreach Campaign is a six-week door-to-door community-based census designated to identify and collect information from underserved/disadvantaged families by working with a cadre of Community Outreach Workers/Promotoras and High School Students, Ms. Aguirre explained.

The community-based census targets; children in need of healthcare coverage, children under 36 months and school age children in need of immunizations, pregnant women in need of prenatal care, migrant families with no medical insurance in need of resources.
